I have chosen LEGO as the brand for this exercise.
Established in 1934, LEGO is famous and contrasting from it's toy industry competitors as they do not simply just make toys for kids, they generates kids intelligence by requiring them to build toys by themselves and even customising it in the way they want to be, by using their iconic durable and high quality blocks. Thus, allowing kids to be entertain in the way that most prefer and at the same time educating them.
For LEGO's minifigs, they have a constant distinctive way of portraying human figures and even famous characters. Thus, it plays a part in making LEGO toys standing out from the toy industry too.
Other than just toys for children, they had brought forward their iconic blocks and minifigs models into the gaming industry and even a LEGO theme park. LEGO have also became a form of art nowadays after finding out that designers and artists have started using LEGO blocks and minifig characters as a form of designing style and medium for sculptures or models.In general, LEGO toys have not only became things that kids have play with, it had developed and became a image in everyone's mind and work as a form of representation in other forms such as art and movies.
not only a toy for kids, but collection as well. keeping up with times, Lego keep coming out with new collections of superheros, etc. also with its many different kind of blocks, etc, it opens up an opportunity to everyone's dream of creating a whole new world.
ReplyDeleteThink that LEGO has really evolved from its first launch. It is interesting to find out about it as it keeps producing new and unique characters to its collection. Its distinct logo has been a trademark for 74 years.
ReplyDeleteAlthough Lego have become a form of art, people hardly pick it up and do it themselves. They would just take a look, go “wow” and walk away.
ReplyDeleteAs for being toys for kids, I think due to the technologies and the wide variety of toys out there, you hardly see children playing with Lego anymore. There is also the fact that almost everything is sold seperately, thus the price may also affect whether parents are willing to pay for it.
With the lego blocks that comes with different sizes as well as colours, anyone not only kids can make a toy that is of their own, that is one and only. However on the other hand, compared to the other toys in the market that can probably move with the help of the batteries and stuffs like that, consumers tend to be more attracted to these toys rather than LEGO
ReplyDeleteLEGO keeps on evolving since it started. From stacking up big blocks to building it into art. The variation products that Lego have allowed consumers to choose what they like. Their colours is strong and bright which attract children attention.
ReplyDeleteWent to Changi Airport T3 recently and saw several art masterpieces built with LEGO blocks.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting that these tiny blocks can actually create a face, and statues like the sphinx!
I feel that LEGO is a very ingenious creation. Unlike wooden blocks, which would topple even with a slight push, LEGO can actually be fixed stably and still be reconstructed if desired. It allows a child, or just any one to be creative with what they want to build with these LEGO blocks and can be kept for a very long time due to its durability and timelessness.
ReplyDeleteLEGO has a huge market as they attract people of all ages. Lego is an easy yet intricate toy that lets both children and adults create anything and everything. It broadens a person's imagination and I am proud to be one of those kids that grew up with these familiar blocks.

Lego is a wonderful creation. It allows kids to have their own imagination and create anything they want out of it. They are just blocks and blocks with bright colours still, it makes imagination run wild and able to make different things out of it.
