An example using Levis

Levis is my chosen brand. As a brand, Levis has moved on from work apparel for gold miners during the Gold Rush to a label that one associates with anytime one thinks about jeans and denim. Its iconic status in pop culture reinforces the brand's viability with creative ads (such as the one by Michel Gondry) and distinctive marketing (the easily recognisable red tab) alongside its unique styles.

  1. While Levis has a long history, it is now too common and mass market. Too many people wearing the same item and therefore, losing its individuality.

  2. Well but no doubt, the quality is worth the price :]

For me, I'm going for Levis for the quality more than what I see in the brand & its advertising :]
