Häagen-Dazs uses premium and high quality ingredients to produce ice cream that are thick and dense, thus it cost much more than it's competitors. However, it have a wide range of flavours and even special limited flavours. I agree with all that Häagen-Dazs is a trustworthy brand and have never failed to prove why do we need to spend more money on their products and not others.
ReplyDeleteAlthough Häagen-Dazs brand of ice cream is more expensive than the other brand, people still feel that it is worth spending on such premium ice cream. Even those who are afraid that ice cream is very fattening also gave up on these thinking and enjoy the wonderful taste that Häagen-Dazs ice cream can give them.

ReplyDeleteI always had this impression of Häagen-Dazs as a very foreign and classy ice cream brand. This is because of its name. During my research on premium ice creams, I actually found it very interesting that Häagen-Dazs is in fact an American brand. The name Häagen-Dazs is actually 2 made up words to make it sound Scandinavian. I feel that this foreign branding strategy is actually very effective and strong.

ReplyDeleteI think Häagen Dazs was the one to change the dynamics of the ice cream market. It is still popular among the earlier generations. I think their long history and decades of experience they had in this ice cream industry is significant for Häagen Dazs's success.

ReplyDeleteNo doubt, the flavours excites me but come to think of it, in this multi-racial country, it is good if they make it Halal so that everyone can get a taste of the great flavours? :] I think it would be good to edit here & there of its recipe to match the needs of people in different areas, such as having different recipe for stores in Europe & stores in Asia?
Well perhaps they didn't do so 'cos they want their brand to have a "global" taste that is the same no matter is it Europe or Asia that you go to?
Though the prices of Häagen Dazs ice cream is much higher than the others in the market, it is worth the price. As it used premium ingredients and it never disappoints their consumers by satisfying their taste buds.
